Unable to open file for writing WMS data

Forums:

Hi all,
I have a small problem.I am trying to send an SMS using ITAPI.

i = ITAPI_SendSMS (pMe->pITapi, "1234567890", "Sending SMS",0,ptrFunc,pMe->retVal );

If I am writing like this then the code is working properly.

But if we change the telephone no. other than this

i = ITAPI_SendSMS (pMe->pITapi, "9876543210", "Sending SMS",0,ptrFunc,pMe->retVal );

it is not working.It is giving an error "Unable to open file for writing WMS data".
As far as I know the simulator will create a file with .sim extension and place the data in that file.What is WMS stands for? and why it is giving error(if we change the number)?

Thanks in advance

I was getting the same error.
The simulator help guide (v 3.1.5.145) said to enter:
[General]
SMSLogDirName = “C:\foo\SMSLogs\”
I changed it to:
[General]
SMSLogDirName=C:\SMSLogs\
**NOTE: I got rid of the " and the spaces**
That fixed the WMS error and my logs are now written to the expected directory.
Hope that helps others that run into this issue! :D
