Samsung USB Drivers - U420 and A645???

I'm having difficulties finding drivers for the Samsung SCH-U420 and the SCH-A645. Have any of you all found these drivers....If so, can you please tell me where to download them.

Thanks!

ditto that, i have the alltel samsung u420, it came with a 'dual' usb/serial cable. although the serial doesn't seem to connect for me, perhaps the phone is set to USB mode only? does anyone know how to switch it to accept serial transfers if this is the case? or a usb driver would be useful.
come to say, there is no info for this handset on samsung, or phonescoop.com ... ghost!

We're looking for these drivers too.
It's been a couple months, but no ones given an answer. Has anyone had any luck?

I was able to connect with standard Samsung drivers, the computer recognized the handset as COM9 on my computer, and in AppLoader--it found the phone after I changed the settings to 1.x/2.x and connected.
Once connected at 1.x/2.x, create a /mif folder under the /brew folder. Disconnect and reconnect under 3.x. Your applications will be able to be installed now under 3.x methodology for installation.
Also, the game will not show up under the Menu >> Apps folder. You'll have to use the right directional key to access the Apps folder to find your installed application.

Hey, I just got the u420, and it didn't come with a USB/data cable. And I haven't had any luck googling to find one.
I wouldn't think they'd make a whole new type of connector just for this phone.... Do you know of one that would work from another phone, or is there a place I can get one just for the u420?
Also, if you wouldn't mind posting a link to the drivers that work, it'd be very much appreciated :)
I just want to be able to get the pictures and stuff off my phone, and to be able to add my own ringtones - why they don't let you do this with Bluetooth I have no idea. I hope the data cable and drivers fix this problem :)

Not sure about removing the pictures, ringtone, and other files off of the phone. The cables that are used in conjunction with the AppLoader only allow access to the BREW section used for applications and such. You're unable to access photos and ringtones through the AppLoader.
But, commercially, you should probably contact Samsung or your service provider for software and a link cable.

I ordered an package deal off ebay for my u420, it had the USB cable, car charger and wall charger all for about $10 shipped.
I tested the fit of a d807 (one of the phones listed to work with the ebay stuff) cable and it's the same type, so it should work fine. We just need to find drivers to work with it.
I've done tons of mods to my girlfriends V3c razr, with programs like PST, MPT, and the P2k programs.
But I have no idea what software to use for modding a Samsung phone, can you guys let me know what's out there?

Well, I got the package with the USB and other cables. Now all we need are some good drivers and a seem editing program =/
I really, really wish P2Kseem would work with this phone.
I installed some Samsung USB drivers, but I have no idea what they were from O.o No matter, though, it still worked :D
I've been playing around with bitpim and some other software. I can see the files on the phone but all the files I would want to mess with are blocked ("Access to this file/directory has been blocked on this phone by the provider")
So that means we're going to have to unblock them.
Who here knows of good seem editing software for Samsung phones? Something like P2Kseem would be nice

Any luck yet in accessing the data files on this phone (pictures, ring tones, etc...)

ok
i was able to connect with apploader, and copy my app.
i used a Samsung T809 cable that we have that came with out T809 (Tmobile) and it connects to apploader fine
NOW, my problem is, the app is loaded on the phone, but when i restart the handset, and goto 'access shop' (thats alltel equivalent of brew shop), my APP doesn't show up in the list.
I checked the device EFS, and its still on the handset, ruling out that the phone is not test enabled. ANy ideas why the app isn't showing up? I had a similar problem with an app not showing up on another alltel phone the other day also, but didn't bother to post here ...

ahh, fixed the problem, it is brew 3.0 handset ... but now i have new problem, i reinstalled the apploader on a new computer, and now it wont connect at all the the u420 ... it just connects forever then never shows the file system.
by the way, this uses the same data cable as the Samsung T809 for TMobile if you are looking for one.
EDIT: added email notification
