Coding an application

Forums:

Hi,

I am very new to this BREW environment... I have gone through the intial documents in the past 1-2 weeks.

I have run the sample applications given in SDK kit using simulator.

Now can anyone guide me how to start coding if I want to develop my own application. For eg. MyApp should have the facility of only playing and recording audios.

How to use the respective APIs ? In which module I should start coding for my application. ?

I am sorry if my concern is not valid...

Thanks,
Neelima

Hi
U can check out the "mediaplayer" sample program provided with Brew SDK. It does what you intended to do...

place a breakpoint on both the function and start the application in debug mode u will understand the difference yourself.
Just to help you out AEEClsCreateInstance is the entry point in your code. which is called from AEEMod_CreateInstance ( this fucntion creates a module )
