Default/Primary phone number in the Address

Forums:

Hi,

If a user "A" has a Mobile,Work,Home numbers and sets his Mobile as the 'Default' or 'Primary' is there any API by which i can get this info.

Regards,

Not sure if I understand your question clearly. Did you check out ITELEPHONE_GetPhoneInfo and see if that satisfies your requirement.

Rephrasing my question.
In My Address book i have a contact whose name is "A". He has 3 numbers, one mobile, one home and one work. I have set his mobile as primary/default number so that if i make calls from addressbook it should make a call to his mobile directly.
Now i would like to know if there is any API in brew which would let me know that i have set the primary or default number of "A" to mobile or an API which would give me the primary or default number of "A"

Hey Rajeev,
Even, there is no API to check. Though OEMs giving option to set them as default, as far as I know BREW is not having a method to read it.
BTW - I met karthik and shahin in sandiego. I moved to NJ last month. Will call you some time.
