Iam planning to buy a built in uiOne enabled phone for testing UIone applications.
Any one plz help me for buying a UIOne enabled phone.
After searching it is found that following phones are Uione enabled. (Uione Service is provided by operators)
Sanyo MM-7500
Samsung z510
Samsung sch u420
O2 Ice pantech
Samsung Z630
Onda N5050
But specs of all the above phones are not available except for the Samsung sch u420. Is Samsung sch u420 is a Uione enabled phone?
Any one have experience on UIone application testing on devices plz help me.
Thanks
Premlal

As of my current understanding Uione enabled phone is only available via service providers. Is there any phone is available in market with built in Uione .

Hi Uione guys,
All are developping brew applications with Uione. Is it is for sdk Only?.
Any one who is tested uione application on device, plz reply.
This is my fourth posting regarding uione app tersting on device in deffrent ways.
It is very disappointing that no reply from Brew Support regarding this.
After my search it is found that all uione enabled phones are supplied by the operators(Sprint, verizon, Alltelletc, O2,etc...).All are CDMA phones. Planing to buy this phone from USA. But some operator problem still exists, because iam from India.
Is there is any phone with built in uiOne available in market without CDMA.
Hoping a reply from Brew Support.
Thanks

Why would you need a device with uiOne "built in"? You realize that the extensions comprising uiOne can be loaded dynamically on a device with the appropriate BREW version? In fact, you probably don't want a device with uiOne components preinstalled, since that usually means that the native UI has some sort of dependency on these components and you'll be stuck developing uiOne apps that use the same versions that are already on the device.

many thanks for the reply. From ur posting I understand that if i have a phone with version 3.1.3 or above i can test uione apps without problems .right?
I have a device with version 3.1.3 , with built in widgets and forms.
I already tried manually copying trigplayer, widgets and forms and finaly trig on the device. But phone crashed.
U already replied for this question. Link is http://brewforums.qualcomm.com/showthread.php?t=14686&highlight=premlal
can you plz explain what are the steps of transfering uione app to that device.
Thanks,
Premlal

Yeah, that's why you wouldn't want a test device with any uiOne stuff preinstalled -- the version of Trigplayer you're loading to the device probably has a dependency on different versions of BUIW. Your best bet is a recent 3.1.4 device with no preloaded uiOne extensions.
