motorola v3c uione

Forums:

Is uione supported in Motorola V3C. Has anyone tried it??

Other than Alltel, no other carrier in US announced to use uiOne. V3C/V3M/Krazr doesn't use uiOne.

No. It has Widgets and Forms, but not Trigplayer.

Is it possible to transfer trigplayer(mif, mod) and other UIOne related dependencies to the phone which have no UIOne support, for testing UioNe applications.
I tried one UIone application in phone which have Forms and widgets, But no UIne support. but loading of application failed. Is any one tried in this way.I tested in a phone with Brew version 3.1.3.

Each version of TrigPlayer has dependencies on certain versions of other core extensions (such as widgets and forms). You'll need to load all the TrigPlayer dependencies on the device to have TrigPlayer work. Note that if the OEM is using a customized or old version of BUIW for their phone UI and you replace the version that's installed on the device, you could cause some serious problems on your device. ;)

Hmmmm.... hypothetically speaking (i.e. I can't be bothered seeing if this works) it ought to be pssible to compile up widgets and forms with different class IDs to avoid a conflict with OEM versions. We can't, of course, recompile Trigplayer. But it would be pretty trivial to edit the binary. It's not a perfect solution, but it would at least allow testing a uiOne app for performance and so forth, On A Real Device [tm].
