Is it possible to show the popup to the user when device camera is on ?
Actually what my app is doing is basically whenever user capture a new picture, my application which is running in the background would at once show a popup wndow to the user inorder to notify him whether he want to do further processing on the picture taken by him, and that popup window remain on the screen until the user presses some key .

waiting for response

If your app can get the notification of the picture taken, then you can bring the app to foreground and show the popup, then on clr , you can clear the screen. Otherwise background app cannot get these clr events as such.

As I known, NO, otherwise can't pass TBT.
If YES, you need reactive application to foreground, then pop up a dialog for about 2-5 seconds (or user press some buttons like OK to disappear the dialog), then application goes to background again.

Call yourself ISHELL-StartApplet (that will let you put the background application to the foreground application) and then popup the application.
