Auto-install Auto Run Auto launch

Forums:

I am new to Brew development and I wonder if anyone can answer my question.

Is it possible to auto launch/run application stored on external memory card once the card is inserted into the phone/device? or is there any auto-install mechanism similar to what is available in Windows?

The question can be asked aanother way. Is event for memory card insertion available to be catched so that it triggers custome application to launch another application stored on the card?

I will appreaciate any help or different ideas of how application installation can be automated without much of a browsing over memory space.

I'm pretty sure apps can't be stored on a card. The only way to install an app on a phone is to download it through the mobile shop.

BREW does not currently support storing applications on the memory card, but that's being investigated for a future release.

BREW 3.1.5+ has a notification for memory card insertion, but again, apps can't be stored on the card.

The only way for a standard developer to get an application into a user's device is to have the app TBT approved and then have a carrier accept the app into the download catalog.

Another question related to this issue; BREW 3.1.5 has a notification for memory card insertion but apps cannot be stored in the card; ok, that's pretty clear, but, is there any option to install any card-stored application in the device using the autolaunch or similar ??
Thanks a lot to all !!!
