Hi there,
thanx for the reply .. i understand wat u said but the thing is .. i m not putting my app on any ordinary server .. my app is signed by the carrier and i m putting it on a carrier server .. so its not the issue now ... the only thing i want to know is ... how can i make a setup of my application that i can put on a server so that user can download it through GPRS and after downloading it will automatically install on a user device .. and as i mentioned above that my application contains 4 applets in it .. so i want to make a setup file that will install all 4 applets at once ... may be i required to make a single mod file for all 4 applets or there can be any other solution .. i want to know the solution and the proper steps if possible .. plzz help me in this regard .. thanx.

Then have the carrier add it to their catalog. If you have a device with MobileShop/mShop, you can use that to download the app. If you don't have MobileShop/mShop, you can't download the app.

The BREW App manager and the carrier ADS takes care the installation of any package that you submit. So I dont understand your real need. Why do you have to worry about installing your app by your self?

dude.
i assume that you would be having 3 extensions and a single applet, which uses the other 3 extensions....
is that case ?
well, i dont think you need to be concerned about it.
once you complete TBT, you would be giving your application to the carrier, later it will be taken care of by the carrier. they do the packaging and the user will be downloading all the 4 applets, where he will see only one, the main applet.
hence, stay back and relax. you dont have to worry about it :)

well thanx for the replies .. but i have 4 applets .. not 3 extension n 1 applet .. so i want to know .. when i submit my code for TBT .. do i need to make a single mod file or i can send for mod files i.e. 1 for each applet?? .. if i can send 4 applets individually then its ok for me .. but the thing is all the applets calling each other while processing .. so thats y i m very much confuse about the installation thing ..
still i dont need to worry? .. or is there anything to worry?? ..
