problem for Telus Motorola V3c, GATW_06.04.00R

I tried everything people said, but my helloworld application still not appear anywhere.
My Motorola V3c is from Telus, firmware is GATW_06.04.00R.
For Telus one, there is just a "Do More" menu, not "Get is now" like the Verizon one. I think BREW application should be listed here, right? But I checked all menus, cannot find the "helloworld" I just loaded. I tried to specify applet type to "Game" and "Tools", neither of them works.

In apploader, my files are still there. I don't know if my sig file is correct, but sig just affect when you run the application, right? I cannot run my application yet because I cannot find it.

So far, that's the only BREW device I have, I cannot identify where the problem is, my BREW application, or the phone itself?

has anyone met the similar case? how did you solve it?

Please help me, this is urgent.
thanks in advance.

Juan

My application failed to pass TBT regards to this. And I don't know what to do too. If anyone knows - please share it here!

Hi all,
We have worked and deployed several titles for Telus. I fail to see why you are attempting to load BREW builds on Telus handsets (even though it does have a BREW file structure). As far as I know, Telus applications sold through their portal are only J2ME.
The two ways I know to load J2ME apps on their phone is either through a program called bitpim (or other similar programs) and hacking the phone filesystem, or by joining the Telus developer program and having openwave pointing to a test domain (to ota your builds).
Last I heard, their developer program (free lines pointing to a test domain) is now extremely hard to join (unless you work for a well known developper).
I hope this helps a bit.

Alex

Hi Juan,
Any luck on your Telus phone? I want to try a Hello World on my Telus Samsung A950, do you think it will work?
Thanks!

Sorry, I haven't checked this post for a while. here are some update.
Like Alex said, Telus only has Java application even on BREW phones. I guess they have a special firmware that forbid install BREW application.
What we did is to flash the phone with a verison firmware, then we are able to install BREW application. but we lost network connection.
Seems no way to have both in Canada.
If anyone knows any operator in Canada provides REAL BREW phones (I mean you can install BREW applications on it), please let me know.
