Will native BREW components work with Wizards

Hi Friends ,
If I have a customised UI control extension which have been written in BREW 2.0.1 , will this control work properly if I use this extension with BREW UI WIDGET? How will the Flow be organised with respect to the BREW Widget , As BREW Wizard contains pointer to Container and Model but the Native extension does not contain such pinters . my concern is are extension written in BREW 2.0 and above integrated with the BREW UI Widgets . Please suggest your views as each view creates a link to the destination .
I will be Thankfull for your views and comments .

Controls and widgets don't work well together. You would need to rewrite it as a widget.

Thanks a ton for the light thrown on the topic , but as you know IControls are derived from AEEIBase and Widgets are from AEEBase so , when I have to rewrite the Controls as Widgets then I need to use to AEEBase and then do the writing , now will this control be useful and will be working with BREW 2.0 and above ?

IBase just provides the AddRef & Release function. Controls & widgets cannot work together even both are derived from IBase.

You need to change your control from implementing the IControl interface to implementing the IWidget interface. So instead of implementing ICONTROL_SetRect, ICONTROL_Redraw, etc., you need to implement IWIDGET_SetExtent, IWIDGET_Draw, IWIDGET_SetModel, etc.

Thanks for the Input , that means if I write control from the Widgets then I cannot use it with native BREW application . Thanks everyone for your feedback .
