We are not able to see the logo of application in the application manager.

Forums:

Hello Friends,

We are facing strange problem on the motorola V3C, We are not able to see the the logo of our application on the motorola V3C device on the Verizon network, We have stored the logo in the mif file. We can only able to see the name of the application on the application manager. We observed same behaviour for all the applications on motorola V3C on verizon network.

If the same application is tested on another device such as LG VX 8500 on verizon network it displays proper logo in application manager.

If we test the same application on Motorola V3C on TaTa network in India, We are able to see the proper logo in the application manager.

Does any one know the reason or any possible work around for this issue?

Thanks and Regards,
Jayawant Jagtap

Hi Jayawant...
Please verify that your icon size is as follows....
1. 65(w) x 42(h) - assigned to Large Icon
2. 26x26 - assigned to Medium Icon.
3. 16x16 - assigned to Small Icon
this may also be the issue....

Hello stiwari and sucess_anil,
Thank you for your kind reply.
We can able to see the "setting" in the application manager in the Motorola V3C device in India in TaTa network, but we could not able to find the "Settings" to change the view on Motorola V3C in USA on Verizon network.
Is there any specific reason due to which the setting to change the view is not available in the motorola V3C on the verizon network.
Thanks and Regards,
Jayawant Jagtap

Hi Jagtap
I don't know the exact reason why this happens with brew enable handsets. Some times resetting the device through Apploader doesn't resets the device properly. Try to set your device power off for some time and then restart it. May be this could solve the problem. Regarding the application settings i would say that there must be some way to access the application's setting. If you get any solution to the problem do tell me , It would be really be interesting to explore the problem.
Thanks

Thinks that my issue too - I'm on a Verizon V3C. I have not found any Application Settings menu.
