if u dunt find font req here then u have to custom implement it by taking an image font strip of ur font size.. :)

The standard size does not suit me. Can you refer me any documentation where it explains how to custom implement a font by taking an image font strip?

You can use font strip and display the characters by bitblting the strip. You can make three font strip for normal, bold and italic.
Thanks,
mahesh

So I think following is what you are suggesting
1. I need to create a bitmap where all characters are drawn sequentially one after the other in a "known" sequence in the size I want.
2. I need to create 3 such bitmaps - one each for normal, bold and italics (may be more if I need Bold + Italic!!!).
3. While rendering a string, based on the character in the string I copy relevent portions of the above bitmap to the destination bitmap.
Is this what you are suggesting? If not let me know where am I going wrong.

Yes, lets say you want to display "Hello world",so what youwill dois
1.) Create font strips having cap letter and small letter, and you have to make an array having the width of each character including space.
2.) Now parse the Hello world string and after blitting them you can display them as you know the width of each character.
Thanks,
Mahesh

How do I convery the IBitmap object to IImage pointer for me to display on the screen? Is there an API to draw IBitmap at a given x,y co-ordinate on the screen?

So now I have been able to build the small font strip and using IDISPLAY_BitBlt I am able to construct a give string. How do I invalidate the rect where I am displaying the bitmap so that it looks like before. I tries IDISPLAY_EraseRect() and IDISPLAY_FillRect() - The later with RGB_NONE but it always ends up making the rectangle area black. Any idea how to sole this issue?
