what else do u expect from dbgprintf:rolleyes:
to update your screen please use display api.
for the same refer BREW API reference.
DBGPRINTF are debug statements used to log data which can be seen on your BREW logger/Simulator Console or output window.

okay to use logger you should get BREW tool suite available in qcomm SDK site, tools section. you can search for the same in the net.
It shuld be a free distribution i guess.
i dunt have already running eg for the same, but im sure if u search a bit in this forum it all present already and still if u face problem u can post it here for experts suggestions.
However your basic problem as my understanding goes is to update your screen, please try to update string and images as a practise first and go thru other address book stuff.

Brew logger is the part of Brew tools suite which you can download from: https://brewx.qualcomm.com/brew/sdk/authdownload.jsp?page=dx/commbrewtools
Connect the handset tot he PC with USB/Serial cable, Start Brew logger and connect to the device, start logging.
See logger help doc shipped with Tool suite.
