Can't delete files with AppLoader

Forums:

I've been trying to delete a folder that we named 1234 with files with 1234.mif, 1234.mod file names. Using AppLoader 3.1.1, with Module --> Delete option or just trying to delete individual files in the folder, the AppLoader just keeps returning EFS2 command failure errors.

Does anyone has any idea have to get the files deleted off the device? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi
Go to Brew App Manager ->settings ->Manage apps
Select Application ->select delete option from options.
It might help you.
Thanks

FYI.
You cannot delete the downloaded applications from mobile shop through app-loader. To delete those applications go manage apps in Brew App Manager, and delete.

I was trying to simulate mobile shop OTA installation by renaming the file names to 1234.*
I've tried the instructions above. Went to the application manager on the device but the delete option isn't available when the application is selected. Is there a way to get that option available?

Delete option is available for downloaded apps only. Renaming cable-loaded apps to numbered folder doesn't mean app is downloaded.
