HI ALL

I am very new to brew ..i am not able to display a image on the screen.

please someone suggest me how to display image form bar file and also through http request.

the following doesn't work for

 

 

 

IImage img;

img = ISHELL_LoadImage(pMe->piShell, "Winter.bmp");

 

IDisplay_Update (pMe->

piDisplay);

IIMAGE_Draw(img,0,0);

ISHELL_LoadResImage(pMe->piShell, WIDGETS_RES_FILE,IDI_OBJECT_5001);
then wen i trier to set image using

IWIDGET_SetImage(pMe->piw,pMe->piImage);
getting error
 

1>widgets.obj : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol _IWIDGET_SetImage referenced in function _widgets_InitAppData
 
m not getting how to resolve

Would need to see more code, but you probably need to set the extent (it's 0x0 by default).

looks like a linking issue...   make sure you are linking the brew mp widgets library

What do you mean by " pressed Clearscreen()"? By Clearscreen() you mean IDisplay_ClearScreen? Please elaborate the exact requirement.

I am working onpaint application in which i am trying to load image on screen and will draw different shapes like circle , rectangle and fill colors to those shapes.. while drawing those shapes i have to use IDisply_ClearScreen()  that time i want to retain the background image afetr doing IDisply_ClearScreen()  also

You are using image as root container backgorund and drawing something on root container...to erase the drawing, you are clearing the screen...right? clearscreen will clear the entire display bitmap. Try using IRootContainer_Invalidate to draw the root container again.
