Unable to Inject touch events on BREW MP device using CAL.exe

Forums:

I am trying to inject touch based brew events to a device using CAL.exe .

The following is the command I sent to the device

C:\Program Files\Qualcomm\Brew MP SDK\Toolset 7.12 Rev 5.0.2461610\bin>cal ssv 001084000 0x1008000 0x50b "x=53,y=53"

The cal result was successful but I still get an error reporting from the device logs  that command reception has been failed.

--GW--  00000  GWA: Remote agent disconnected: cleaning up..MSG     [00000/03]Legacy/Error              02:26:34.090                                *--GW--  00000  IMsgTransport_Recieve failed!MSG     [00000/03]Legacy/Error              02:26:34.091                                *--GW--  00000  IMsgTransport_Recieve failed!MSG     [00000/03]Legacy/Error              02:26:34.092                                *--GW--  00000  IMsgTransport_Recieve failed!MSG     [00000/03]Legacy/Error              02:26:34.092                                *--GW--  00000  IMsgTransport_Recieve failed!

Am I missing any component from the device side?

From the logs it looks like gateway connection via Cal API could not be
made, can you check if gateway is working fine on your device?
You can check expliciltly by running GatewayTurnOn.exe to turn gateway ON
