How can we enumarate the exinting SMS on a device

Forums:

Hello all
I want to enumerate all the existing SMS messages on a device. The ITAPI interface facilitates me only for the incoming SMS messages.How can I have action on the existing SMS messages like we have the access to address book entries in device?

Anand.

In BREW 3.1+ ISMSStorage will allow for this capability.

In BREW 3.1+ ISMSStorage will allow for this capability.

So, any BREW 3.1+ device should have this interface implemented?
I tried that on LGE VX9800 and LGE VX8300.
The following code always returns EFAILED (1):
ISMSStorage* m_pISMSStorage;
int iRes = ISHELL_CreateInstance(m_pIShell, AEECLSID_SMSSTORAGE, (void**)&m_pISMSStorage);
I have SMSMAINCLIENT (0x0100500E) in dependencies list in my application's MIF-file.
Am I doing something wrong or the device doesn't support this?
