How to display chinese,don't use BREW_RES.exe?

Please help me. Thank !

u can put chinese string into res.bri files . Addintional, you can hard coding as following in app:
//......
AECHAR* szName = (AECHAR*)L"Char, and ÖÐÎÄ";
//......
If you read file or receive data from Web, DON'T using STRTOWSTR(..) , because of these will usually mix english and chinese character. I sugguest that use a particular buffer duplicate part data, and use (AECHAR*)L to cast correctly.
Wish this be helpful for you.
Good Luck.

While AECHAR* L"something in Chinese" can be displayed correctly on the emulator, it didn't work on a couple of OEM handsets. So my suggestion is to do some tests on your phone. Use Hello world to check it.

HOW can I pass a parameter of chinese string and use (AECHAR*)L to convert AECHAR into a unicode string and display, as if the only way to use (AECHAR*)L is (AECHAR*)L"chinese string"!!

Go around this problem.
Edit your myapp.bar with a chinese string encoded in Unicode. Try loading the chinese string from resource file myapp.bar. It's a Wide string format and you can convert it using WSTRTOUTF8.
