I know that the IHTMLVIEWER doesnot support background color setting. but is there a work around so that i can display and scroll txt using IHTMLVIEWER and set the background color using some oyher interface? Basically what i'm looking for is Scrolling Text+Image content with support of background color. :confused:

Try using IDISPLAY_SetColor on item CLR_SYS_WIN. Worked for me (on the LG VX8000, at least).

Hi all,
Iam using BREW SDK 3.1.5. We can use the following code for setting the background color of IHtmlViewer :
bgcolor="#00ff00">
This code can be passed along with other HTML input to IHTMLVIEWER_SetData ( ) or similar APIs. This works in BREW SDK 3.1.5.
Thanks
Satish
