IStatic on Samsung N362

Forums:

We use AECHAR multi-line text.
On most phones (espesially on BREW v1.1 devices) it works ok, but on Sumsung N362 words in some lines are swapped.

Anyone know why this happend and how to fix this?

Hi Cyril. Good to meet you I am tester who found this problem. Here is more detailed description:
What should read “1. Introduction
“RiderX 3D” is an…”
instead appears right Aligned, also words are backwards. So to get an idea of what error looks like, just reverse each line the order of the words. For example, the actual display is :
“ Introduction 1.
an is 3D” “RiderX ?
Notice 1)Right align
2)Reverse order of words
3)This only happens on first line of each new ‘setion,’ so 1. 2. 3. 4. ext… the body reads fine. For example: Section #3 instead of displaying:
3. Selecting a player
instead reads in right align format.
player a Selecting 3.
NOTE: This only happens on N362, never noticed on any other handsets. Although this handset is very 'unique'

I got the N362 and found out that there is a problem with the text alignment. Went back to the operator who went back to Samsung and they fixed the problem.
You should ask the operator/Samsung to upgrade your phone software version.

I was using the N-362 that the BREW DEV Lab supplies, I wonder if they have old versions of software? It may be worthwhile to let them know. I will do so. THanks.

if this is something that was fixed before being released to the publice that would be nice, but i think it would be a big problem if there is a possiblity that end customers have the old firmware version of the phone.. I think the developers should be using the same versions of the device that the customers are.
how would they know to upgrade? does verizon (or any of the carriers) inform customers of this issue?
just wondering...
