* and # keys in motorola V60X(urgent please)

Forums:

hi all,
On the V60X device we can see that
1) * and <-
2)# and ->
are combined. If I press the # key AVK_RIGHT is sent to the application.
If I am using AVK_POUND and AVK_RIGHT for different purposes, how to generate AVK_POUND :confused:

Thanks in advance,
Sumana

Are you sure about that?
I don't have the V60X emulator so I can't check but I saw the image of a V60 and it looks as if it does have a separate * key (left of 0) and left arrow (on top next to END button).
If the code isn't yours from scratch see if some one has written some code like
if (keyCode == AVK_STAR)
keyCode = AVK_LEFT;
Ofcourse this might be completely false if V60X doesn't actually have different keys for * and left arrow as such.

Hi,
Yes. I am sure about what I am telling. There is no separate left and right keys as up and down.
