Forums:

Is there keyboard shortcut to simulate softkey presses on the brew emulator ??
I've managed to find the keys for all of the other buttons (back, end, send, num 0-9, dpad)

also, is there a way to remove the traces output by the emulator, such as keypresses (which polute the output window) ?

thanks

Currently the soft keys have not been mapped on the emulator. In future releases, F1 should correspond to AVK_SOFT1 and F2 should correspond to AVK_SOFT2.

keyboard numeric keypad corresponds to its equivalent emulator keys, [Esc] to stop or cancel the applicatin execution and Arrow Keys corresponds to emulator navigation keys...

I have 2 request for the next version of your emulator (not just 3.x, but 1.1, 2.0 and 2.1 as well).
1. remove the annoying system output from the console window !!! or at least, provide some way to cancel them. (same for the brew logger)
2. implement the softkey mapped to f1 and f2.
that shouldnt require more than a simple recompilation, and it could be release as a small add-on for each sdk.
and it would make our lives (us developpers) alot easier.
thanks

Easy just don't run the app in the debugger and don't run the BrewLogger.

I actually prefer the way they are currently mapped (Its more consistent with windows applications). But an option to remap the simulator is probably a better way.
