Loading in an image simply

Forums:

I have moved cross all my code from Java to brew and touch-wood its all gone ok so far.

The last compiler error i am getting is in regard to my image loading code.

In J2ME i use

Image image1 = Image.createImage ("./img1.png" );

Is there a simple version like that that is the equivalent in BREW? :o

Thanks for ur help.

I would suggest you that read through IImage api carefully. In order to prevent memory fragmentation. You may need to consider allocate order & time.

Hello,
Instead of ISHELL-LoadImage....I suggest you to use ISHELL_LoadResData....
This will allow you to pass the image for Bitblt unlike in ISHELL-LoadImage.
