Hi,

I have a confusion. The Tech Guide at the following location:

https://developer.brewmp.com/resources/tech-guides/display-technology-gu...

says that I need to use the AEEIDisplay.h header file in order to use the IDisplay methods.

But I'm using IDisplay_ClearScreen(), IDisplay_DrawText(), IDisplay_Backlight(), IDisplay_SetColor (), IDisplay_Update () and IDisplay_DrawRect () functions without including this header file.

Am I missing something or has there been a version upgradation ?

Is it that I'm not supposed to be able to use these functions ? Because most of these functions are used by default in the Wizard generated Hello World Application. Awaiting Reply

Thanks

Probably you're including a header file that is in turn including AEEIDisplay.h. This is perfectly normal.
Typically these requirements should be read as:
You must include header file X to guarantee that you can use API Y.
and not:
If you do not include header file X you will not be able to use API Y.
To make sure your code continues to work properly on version upgrades you should include AEEIDisplay.h anyway.

You should always follow the API reference guide to deterimien which header file to include to use each API. If you search for IDispaly in the API reference guide, you will see that AEEIDisplay.h is needed in order to use it.

Is there a difference between   "AEEDisp.h" and "AEEDisplay.h" ?
