So, the situation with acquring drivers for a new phone has always bothered me. Usually, it seems the phone vendors do not provide drivers on their web site and they are not readily available on the Internet. Sometimes you can buy a data cable at exorbidant prices from Verizon, sometimes you can't. Often, I have to resort to using web sites that are oriented towards hacking phones and pirating software. I take a pretty big risk in installing random device drivers from the Internet; someone could easily create a nasty virus that hides as a phone connectivity driver. What is the official recommended channel to get new drivers for BREW developers? Has anyone else been frustrated by this problem?

Yeah...me too, always face the same problem when i have a new phone.
Can Qualcomm collect these drivers and put them somewhere on the extranet like the phones' data sheets?

I can look into this and see if there's any compelling reason we haven't done so already. I imagine the concern was that we might end up getting support requests for some other company's product, but we get those anyway. ;)
