Right now, I'm having an extremely frustrating time using the apploader to load some phones.

I can not load *any* motorola phones, at all...

The drivers load fine, and the computer sees the device. However, the apploader will not connect to it.
I will get the message:
---------------------------
BREW AppLoader
---------------------------
Error - Could not detect any device with the specified device id
---------------------------

When I try to connect again, my com ports look like this:
COM13Looku
COM14Looku
or some other random combination of characters after the com port number.

What can I do? I've tried all manner of drivers, removing, re-installing my entire BREW setup, different cables, everything and I can not get this to work.

I've read the sticky regarding the mandatory BTIL updates, but my version is newer than the link provided. And frankly, finding ANY updates on the brew developer site is like sticking hot pokers in my eyes.

Can anyone help? Is there any recourse? Right now to load apps I have to go to another PC to load them, and every time I have to load a new driver I have to pray it doesn't screw up something else.

Doesn't seem to be apploader issue. Clean the registry of the devices and reinstall the drivers. I guess you have latest version.
