Currently my ARM mak file generation is broken. The first time (at launch) it says "mak file generated successfully" but generates a mak file with no dependencies or files in it, always 10 KB in size. If I try to run the tool again it tells me "mak file not generated." It seems like the tool is crashing. At first I thought it was my project, but I've tried it with multiple projects. The only major difference is that I've recently installed the release version of Visual Studio .NET 2005. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there anyway I can easily generate a mak file without this tool? I'd rather not have to generate a mak file manually.

I am also facing the same problem.
does anyone knows the solution.
thanx

Got the solution.
If someone faces the same problem.
Then check for your ARM installation path.
Install ARM on c:\ it self and not in c:\program files\
this has resolved my problem

Yup, anything without a space will do - e.g. c:\apps.

Anyone try generating a MAK file with the new ARM Real View 3.0?
Does not seem to work.

Assuming you mean: "Generating with the Visual Studio plugins, for use with ARM Realview 3.0"
Many of the flags have changed. You'll need to change the way you specify cpu. At least one of the flags doesn't exist anymore.
The manual has a section on all the flags that have changed, and their old forms.
