The long awaited BREW Debugger has been released!
For the first time, developers of BREW applications will have the tools to debug applications while they are running on a handset - without the necessity of special hardware.

Product Summary
The BREW Debugger allows application developers to perform on-target debugging of BREW applications using the GNU Debugger and a serial or USB cable connected to the device. The BREW Debugger supports standard debugging operations such as:
- Starting and stopping execution of the application
- Stepping through the code line by line
- Examining and modifying variables

The BREW Debugger requires BREW 3.1.1 or later releases of the BREW API. Currently, the BREW Debugger only supports BREW applications compiled with the gcc compiler.

Who may want to use this?
BREW Application Developers
BREW OEMs - especially if doing core app development on BREW

Who has access to it?
Authenticated BREW developers and OEMs have access to this tool.
