Hi!

Recently I was doing some research on possibility of running BREW applications on Symbian Series 60 phones. I have written a small Symbian OS application capable of loading and executing BREW .mod executables on Symbian devices. My primary goal was to be able to test my communications stuff on GPRS network, but now I think of starting an opensource project.

Obviously at the moment my implementation is limited to a few basic interfaces, but at least such samples as "HelloWorld" and a few others can successfuly run on my Nokia :-)

Well, anyway, I wonder if anyone would be interested in participating in such project, and generally what do you think of such idea?

Yo Zim!
Sounds quite interesting. But if the code is enough abstracted, it's very close to the "opensource emulator" that some1 wanted to make (cf another thread).
What about building a small team, but first get the full approval of Qualcomm so we won't face any law problems?
