Hi,
Please let me know if there is any functionality of buying a sub-product from within the BREW application.

Eg A application offers products like e-magazines, e-newspaper etc that a user can browse and choose to buy. Money deducted from account by BDS and transferred to Application developer's account :o and subscription for that product started and the e-product is made available to user(after sever confirmation though), for eg magazine pages are delivered in electronic format to user so he can read from within my application.

Application mod will be same but the new product info like product name, price is sent by a server.

I am asking this because this in-app purchase is supported by recent Operating systems.

If currently not there then is Qualcomm thinking of something like it, that user can purchase not only application but products like subscription, e-products from within the application eg application themes, walpapers, game levels etc.

Thanks
Sam

Application value Billing (A-VB) extension can be used to do micro transactions from the Brew app for value added services (e.g. content download). Please see details below:
In order to get access to AVB Extension:
1. Developer needs to open a Brew support case and work with Dev Rel(Developer Relation)
2. Sign an AVB amendment
3. Developer will see the Extension in DX 'Extension Library'
Documentation and sample app is shipped with A-VB extension.
The Value Billing Server Simulator aids you to test a BREW application with Value Billing functionality. You can download it from:
