Hi,

I have Visual Studio 2008 installed alongwith Framework 4.

I have Toolset 7.11 installed, alongwith Brew Toolsuite 3.1.1, and SDK 3.1.2.

When I compile my code (the code created purely from Wizard, haven't written a line of code yet on this SDK), I don't get any errors, but when I run it on the Simulator, I don't get any output on the Target Simulator, a Loading Window appears, but when its supposed to be loaded, there's just blank, where infact it is supposed to Show "HELLO WORLD" printed on the target simulated device.

Any help will be appreciated. I've been stuck for about a week now.

Thanks

I assume that you just used the wizard to generate the helloworld app.  On the simulator target, when you launch AppMgr, do you see your applet listed?  If so, what happens when you select it and it runs?  No output?  Also, can you tell me if the full application is found in the fs:\usermods location under the target directory (this includes bar, dll, mif)?
Regards,
Brian

@ Brian:
Thanks for looking into it, but I'm kind of new to this SDK, so I don't know what do you mean by "Launching the AppMgr on the Simulator Target". And yes, I used the wizard to generate the helloworld app.

Thanks

I see an  AppCreator, AppLoader and AppSigner, but nothing as AppMgr

I don't have a Brew Device so I'm using only the Simulator, hope it starts working soon.

The AppManager is on your running Sim target. The key that launches it varies depending on profile used to create your target. For F5151 profile, the AppManager comes up by default. Please see the Tools Reference section on Using Simulator to see an illustration of an AppManager:

What profile did you use to cteate your target?

Thanks,Karina

Please check this, a snapshot of what I'm getting. I'm using the Sapphire Profile:

I hope this clears the confusion.

Do you have the correct version of FlashPlayer installed?

I downloaded the Flash Player, and installed it directly, not through the Internet Explorer. Does it make a difference ?

According to my understanding, yes, it has to be the version for Internet Explorer.

So glad to hear that your Simulator is up and running. I'll see if there's anything we can do to make this easier.

Thanks,Karina
