Has anyone had the same problem as me?
I got a folder of files to be processed; the help file syas " --

For batch processing an entire directory of files at a time, construct your command line as follows:

FOR %f IN ("C:\Documents and Settings ....midi\*.*") DO cmxBatchConverter -i %f

Please note that you need to enclose the target directory path within quotation marks.

Well, when I go to Start->Run and enter this (FOR %f IN ("C:\Documents and Settings\Desktop\conv\*.*") DO cmxBatchConverter -i %f) into the box and click OK, it replies : -

Windows cannot find 'FOR'. Make sure you typed the name correctly

Anyone help?

I've certainly got the correct spelling and pathway.

"FOR" is a batch command and you need to be in a command prompt to use it. the "Run" command from windows is just for running executables not batch script.

Hi, peoples. I still got problems;
Now it's saying cmxBatchConverter is not recognised as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
What am I still doing wrong?

It can't find "cmxBatchConverter" in the current folder or path. Where is it in relation to the folder your doing your for loop in?

Offhand, think it's about 2 folders up.

hows it supposed to know where it is then?
Either specific the full path to it instead of just cmxBatchConverter or ..\..\cmxBatchConverter
where each ..\ means one folder up.

Oops. I just followed the instructions from the helpfile.
Thanks. So simple really.

I am using v.1.01
When I type the command:
C:\Program Files\Qualcomm\CMX Batch Converter>cmxbatchconverter -v CMX30 - l INF
FOR %f IN ("C:\Programfiles\Qualcomm\CMX Batch Converter\*.*") -i %f
Nothing happens...
There are .wav files in the folder...
Anybody have any idea :(
Thanks!
