I am trying to create an EGL SURFACE with alpha attributes, and than use the rendered surface as a texture image.
But the eglChooseConfig always select a 16 bit 5-6-5 configuration.

What am I missing ?

framebuffer surfaces with alpha are not supported at the moment. Framebuffer configurations are limited to match final display surface.

Is there anyway to read the alpha channel ? as a post drawing frame action ?
