Hi.

Is there a way to implement custom input provider for BREW? I'm not sure how it should be called for BREW, but it's about analog to android InputMethodService ( http://android-developers.blogspot.com/2009/04/creating-input-method.html ).

So is there a way to create custom software keyboard, not just in my application, but in all applications, including common browser, messaging, etc?

Thanks.

Another example of what I want is custom SIP (Sotware Input Provider) in windows mobile.

For BREW touch screen phones, virtual keypad is automatically launched when you activate textctl/widget. If you want more than that, you need to implement yours.
Enabling virtual input:

Thanks for your answer.
But it's not exactly what I need. I don't need to launch virtual keyboard in my application. I need to write a replacement to virtual keyboard to be used in all other application. Is this possible?
Thanks.

yes, you can write your own custom virtual keypad - launching and all you need to handle.

No classes available like what you posted in earlier thread. See API reference for any help.
