Hi,

We are working on a gamong solution that relies on network connectivity for game-play. We observe that the data speed on the ISOCKET_Read comes at an average of 2/2.5 kilo-bytes-per-second while using TataIndicom or Reliance connection. We are trying on the following Brew phones - Samsung Corby, MotoRazr and Spice C-810.

Our aim is to reach a data-speed of 5-10 kBps. Is this a limitation on the data-network or is there anything we can do to acheive a higher data rate?

 int32 ISOCKET_Read(ISocket * pISocket, byte * pbDest, uint32 wSize);
try increasing the wSize, but getting the data ultimately depends on network speed.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
We have attempted to read with a larger buffer size as well. Still could not acheived higher data rate. Looks like cdma data speed is low for mobile phone connection.

Ya, Actually rely on network speed.
