I want to display hindhi language using this particular function.

Is that i need to use UNICODE?????????????

Yes, Use Unicode encoding, alternatively you can create a Hindi font image strip and display characters using IDisplay_BitBlt().

for left-to-right languages, try litefont.com. it supports unicode and your selected true-type font.

When you see boxes being displayed, it means the characters you try to display are not supported by the font. Usually a box is displayed in place of undefined characters.
If the language you need is not supported by the system font or fonts supplied by the system, you will need to provide the font yourself, either in bitmap font or Truetype font.
To create an IFont object from Truetype font data, check out the API reference on ITypeface/IHFont.
