Hi all!!

I've read threads related to HTMLViewer trying to solve this but I didn't found a clearly answer.

I'm trying to display images with HTMLViewer, I've read that is possible to display inline images, I understand that a on html file should display the image on handset, considering that img1.png exists on local directory, but when I run it on handset only an empty tag is displayed.

can you help me??

Thanks in advance

Zainos

Its probably too late to answer, but I just had the same issue, in the SRC, you need to add file:///myfile.png, with that your image should be displayed

Hi all,
Use code similar to the folowing for displaying inline images in IHtmlViewer :
src="file:///star.png" width="16" height="16" alt="star">
These are the important points to be noted:
1) Ensure that the image file name is all lowercase. (Eg.) star.png ( Don't use Star.png or STAR.PNG or STAR.png or similar filenames with uppercase letters). Rename image files to be all lowercase if they(file names) are in uppercase.
2) Prefix the image file name with "file:///"
3) Specify width and height attributes if HVP_LOADALLIMAGES property is not set.
I recommend specifying these attributes.
( if possible, try to scale images to lower width and height similar to the size i have mentioned)
4)Use the file naming convention specified in BREW docs when referring to pathnames inside applet directory.
Thanks
Satish
