If I have an application that is registered to start automatically on device start up - then how do I see what's going on or debug it on hardware using the tools available?

- Its not possible to use the Logger because if you start tracing then turn on/off the device the connection is lost.

- Its not possible to use Visual Studio for the same reason.

So how are you supposed to debug this type of app?

One alternative can be to write logs in file. Hope this helps.

You an also use the BREW Logger application to watch what BREW events happen among a host of other somtetimes useful information.

Brew logger wouldn't work here as application is starting up on device boot up and by that time brew logger can not be connected. only alternative can be app to create log file and write logs in this file.
