Hi
Has anyone tried to use IMediaMIDIOutQCP interface? I was in the BREW lab today trying to play QCP files on VX6000.
I successfully played QCP via earpiece using IMediaQCP interface.
Then I replaced IMediaQCP with IMediaMIDIOutQCP and tried to play the same file. Everything went almost ok, interface was created and I have even received MM_STATUS_START event. Unfortunatelly no sound was played :-((
Any ideas?

Well, but how did you try to play QCP? Did you use IMediaQCP or IMediaMIDIOutQCP?
Here's some information I found on IMediaMIDIOutQCP in BREW 2.0 release notes:
-----------------
For the Mobile Station Modem (MSM) platform, BREW 2.0 is CMX compatible with Compact Media Extension (CMX) Version 2.2, meaning that the following interfaces are implemented:
.....
.....
IMediaMIDIOutQCP: Plays QCP thru MIDI device. This is the foreground music. Four QCP files can be simultaneously played. This will be useful for games.
......
......
-----------------
I think that suggests a way to play QCP via speaker, but on VX6000 something seems to be wrong with the implementation.

I have just received a reply from BREW Support and they said that "IMediaMIDIOutQCP is not likely supported on this handset." That doesn't sound like definite answer. Meanwhile I should put my QCP into PMD file and that should be the way to play QCP via speaker.
So, does anybody have any experience with playing PMD files? :-)
