Hello,

Is there anything special you need to do in order to make an application "safemode safe"?  I'm using BREW 3.1.5.  I know that in BREW MP, you can set a privelege (https://developer.brewmp.com/reference/api/brew-mp-104/aeeprividsafemodeok), but I'm not sure what you need to do in 3.1.5.  Thanks for your help.

Tom

no there is no such feature in brew3.x

By "safemode safe" do you mean allowed to start even if the handset is in safe mode?   The device has a static list of app class IDs that are allowed to start in safe mode.  You can work with the device manufacturer to have your app class ID added.

Also, apps with the PL_SYSTEM privilege are allowed to start.

I just wanted to update this old question and say that rmorriso is correct.  All you have to do is add the system privelege.
