Can anyone suggest a way to either set or get what is called "manner" mode or "silent all" mode on the VX6000, or "etiquette" mode on the CDM-8900? I don't see anything relevent in IRingerMgr.

And should I expect that ringers played directly with IRINGERMGR_PlayEx are automatically modulated by such native settings?

You cannot put the phone in manner mode from within Brew. These are user setting that only the user can change using the handset's menu. The same goes for turning keystroke beeps on and off, backlight timing and a few other things.

How do you develop manner mode support into the application? I've read the api documentation but it is using a class id that is not anywhere in my system, AEECLSID_MannerMode. I currently only have the simulator available and am using the latest simulator and visual studio 2005.
