hi,
I am running samplePosDet example from extranet on emulator. it is running fine, but I get negative values for lat/lon. I dont know from where it is generating the fixes, as i can see it is not using any bgp input as well. so how it is generating them and why negative values?? pls help

thx.

Runing SamplePosdet application on the simulator, uses the bgp file specified through GPS emulation on the simulator (Tools->GPS Emulation). By default it will point to the todowntown.bgp available in Program Files\BREW 3.1.5\sdk\bin\DataFiles folder. If bgp file is not specified then it should abort the position detarmination. In your case you are getting lat/lon values because it is using some bgp file specified through simulator GPS emulation settings.
You can emulate GPS on the simulator in two ways - file input (bgp) or serial input.
