Hi Everybody,am quite new to BREW and have some starting trouble.
I have installed Visual studio 8.0 (.NET frame work version 2) on my machine. after that i have installed BREW SDK 3.1.5. After that i installed BREW SDK tools , and Add-ins for Visual studio.
I'm not able to see the Brew application wizard while i'm trying to create a new project from the visual studio. And the icon for ".mif" files is not appearing.
Could you please tell me the exact paths of each of these installations?, and the order of the installions ?. Does visual studio 8.0 supports it ?
and even i have tried with visual studio 6.0 am facing the same problem ,i mean i cant c BREW icon whn i go 2 File-> New .if this is the case how wil i use Mif Editor and create new resources.
please any one can helpme in this regard.waiting for ur reply ASAP.

thanx in advance
BREW developer.

As far as I know the wizard only works with Visual Studio 6. For VS.NET you can use this document.

shmoove is totally right ;)
i worked on vs 6 and the wizard go as follow :
1-File ==> new
2-choose BREW Application Wizard (and write a name)
3-the BREW application wizard will be lunched (asking what support you need )
4- click next
5-Click on the MIF editor button at the center of the wizard
6-a new window will appear on the top of the wizard
7-at the left side you will find the text "List of Applets defined in this module" click on new applet
8- a new window will appear (choose a class name Exactly like the one used for the project ) and choose locally option the class ID will be enabled , write any Hex number you like then click OK
9-a warning will appear choose Yes and save the .bid file inside the project directory
10-you will return to the mif editor page
11- go to the Privileges tap and choose File box
12 - go to file ==>save
13-choose the same name as your project and you must save it in the parent directory of your project !!!
and that's it !!
enjoy
