Hi all,

I have just joined BREW Forums. Could someone please tell me how to create ARM for the extensions of a project.

Thanks

Download the visual studio add-ins for the developer website. These will build an arm or gnu makefile. You'll also need to buy the arm compiler or download the gnu compiler.

hi,
I have got the ARM compiler with me.....got the mod files also....but i want to know how to add extensions to a project....let me make things a bit clearer
I am working on a project "game" which uses MLCS functionality, and for that purpose, an extension named "connector" is there..... (i.e. connector is a separate project which is included in my game). Now i have included the connector in my project. Things are working fine with the emulator. But what to do for the handset.
Two folders named "My_game" and "Connector" are there, with separate DLL's in the directory. MIF files for both of them are in the directory:-
D:\TripleTowers LGVx7000
i have included the "connector" in my project as :
#include "..\connector\connector.h"
Now what would be the relative paths of the mod files for both of these (connector and mygame) in the handset

Paths will be as follows:
/BREW//.mod .bar .sig etc
/BREW//.mod .sig
/BREW/.mif
/BREW/.mif
Not sure if this answers your question...I'm a little confused on what you're asking, but this article should help.

You have got the question right. But do i need to use the signature files for the extension also?
Thanks

yeah, extensions are loaded to the device the same as an application (including sig)

I tried the way you told (using signature files for both the project as well as the extension), on the handset Kyocera KX414
On starting the application, i get the error message flashed on the screen :(
EXCEPTION
Undef Inst
lr = FFICE128
tk= 010E1E04
Could you please help me to sort the problem out.....
Thanks
