In the documentation I assume attributes are created when i create my actor.

/actor/myactor/error
/actor/myactor/message

Ex:
_CreateInteger()
_CreateString()

Then add them as children

Now, in my actor things happen and I want to notify on one of those nodes.
Lets say one of the attributes is error and it is an integer. I cannot find any sample of how you do this.

I know in trigml I can wait on these attributes to change so how do I get the Integer node that represents my Error code so that I can notify?

I believe you are looking for IVFSNODE_SetData.
This method may be used to set the data held by an IVFSNODE.
Check Circle Actor (example actor in uiOne SDK) for a sample usage..

It was my trigML that was the problem. Go figure.
I also have a line of trigML to set an integer in one of my nodes
that does not seem to work. I notice the documentation says
to make sure its read/write but I see nothing to set to make it read write.
