Hi, everyone:
Cause some handset don't support jpg file format, and transfer a bitmap over wireless network is so difficult( both on time and on money :>), we need to convert a bitmap to .bci on server side for supportting those poor handset, anyone know how can we do it? Can we write program to convert bitmap to bci format on memory?

Is it possible to do it create .bci thru a BREW program ?
I suppose No..
Coz U wont be able to use command line tool that u are saying.
By the way which tool did u use?

you could use the command line tool on the server ? or figure out the format and write your own tool.
why wouldn't you just preconvert all the files you needed to bci and load them on
the server , are you generating graphics at runtime ?

yeah, I use command line tools in our aspx page( call command line by process class).
We don't precnovert all files to .bci format cos we must support different format for different hand set, for example, for kz820 series we just send jpg file, but for samsung hand set, we must convert file to .bci format at runtime on server side.

by use command line tools, u can did it, but first, u should make all of frames of the animate file.
