Actually i am a brew developer for years..
Recently i get some requirement for application implemented in SAS..
I searched the website but failed to find any useful information. In my research, i found someone mentioned there's a SAS Primer doc. but I failed to find it out in BrewMP.
Can anyone do me a favor?

Thanks a lot
Chunyuan

Hi Chunyuan,
There is a document entitled 'Softkey Application Suite Primer'. It can be found in the Library section of this website under 'Primers'. It describes how to setup the environment, as well as compile, run, and debug SAS modules. Please feel free to take a look at the SAS applications as very useful pieces of sample code to help you create your own. Feel free to post if you have any further questions.
Thanks,
Anand

hi Anand:
Thanks for your reply.
As I checked the Primer in this website, I am still unable to findout the Softkey Application Suite you mentioned. It's totally 11 Primers here, but none of them is the one.
I don't know, does it related to my account level?
Also when I check from this thread:
https://brewmobileplatform.qualcomm.com/bmpforum/posts/list/73.page
I notice that if we need to build up SAS, we also need the "Brew MP 1.0 SAS rev 1.1.789607" application, and I fail to find it in download either. Could you do me a favor to find the exact URL for primer and application?
Thanks
Chunyuan

Hi Chunyuan,
Are you a developer or an OEM? I believe its possible you may not have access to all the items on the webpage. However, sometimes it is possible to miss some of the links so I will give some specific instructions. Try the following steps:
1. Go to the webpage http://brewmobileplatform.qualcomm.com.
2. Click the Library link at the top.
3. On the left pane, under 'Browse', click the link 'Primers'.
4. In the main pane, it should display 14 results. They may not all fit on the main page so you may have to click 'Next' to see all the results.
5. Click Next to go to the second page.
6. Notice the link 'SAS Primer'. It is the 13th overall listed primer when I go to this page.
Hope this helps. If you still don't see it, perhaps you dont' have access to all the primers and sections of the website, based on your account and access level. Yes, you will need to download the Brew MP SAS package.
Thanks,
Anand

Hi Chunyuan,
I have a few more questions for you regarding your project and effort. I have sent you a personal message. Let's continue the discussion there.

Hi Anand,
Can you also share the SAS primer to me please?

Hi Anand,

Hi GangadharDonthu,
The SAS Primer should be available on this website. The instructions for accessing it were posted earlier in this thread. If you are unable to see it, this is likely because of your account level. Are you a developer or an OEM?
Thanks,
Anand

Hi Anand,
I am a BMP developer. Is the documentataion available only for OEMs? I am working on SAS already, that's why I needed the primer on SAS.
Please let me know if there is any procedure to get the documentataion?
Thanks
Gangadhar Donthu.
