Hi,
Is there any way of screen refresh using buffer concept in BREW ??.
Scenerio :
We need to repaint the portion of the screen where movement of ball is going on...screen keeps the previous color of the ball on the screen itself.
What is the equivalent of using getDirectGraphics(g); in J2ME ?

We are using lots of geometric functions of BREW API s like filltriangle() and fillrectangle() with different colours.

If any one knows how to draw these into the buffer before writing to the display unit..please share your knowledge.

Not sure what do you mean by that. You can certainly have an off-screen frame-buffer. You can update the buffer and do dirty rectangle blitting onto the screen (so it will copy only the portion of the screen that have changed)
