In one of the tests, it mentions that in suspend, one's app
should not process keys or draw any graphics. Is it
possible that my app will actually get keypress messages while it is suspended?

I did not think this was possible once suspended.

Can someone please clarify?

thx

According to documentation, when your application is suspended you will not receive any key events.
Events your application will receive are SMS message handling, pending network callback(if socket is not destroyed by currently active application), resume event and likewise.

I discovered by accident that your app will continue to play sounds even while suspended unless you cancel/stop them.
My impression is that suspending an app is a cooperative event. It's almost like EVT_APP_SUSPEND is a request that you stop running rather than a warning that you're about to be suspended.
